About Luna's Piano Moving & Storage
Luna’s Piano Moving & Storage specializes in professional piano moving, storage, and removal throughout Los Angeles and Orange County, with long-distance service across California and the Western United States. Our crews handle everything from upright and baby grand pianos to full concert grands, antique instruments, difficult stairways, and moves requiring specialized equipment.
Specialized Piano Moving Experience
Piano moving requires more than strength. Our crews use professional piano boards, dollies, ramps, protective padding, floor protection, and specialized equipment based on the size of the piano and the conditions at each property. We regularly handle upright pianos, baby grands, grand pianos, concert grands, antique instruments, stairs, tight turns, long carries, and other difficult-access moves.
Climate-Controlled Piano Storage
Luna’s provides climate-controlled piano storage for upright pianos, baby grands, grand pianos, concert grands, and other specialty instruments. Short-term and long-term storage options are available, with pickup and delivery service throughout Los Angeles and Orange County.
Piano Removal, Rehoming & Responsible Disposal
When a piano is no longer needed, Luna’s provides professional piano removal throughout Los Angeles and Orange County. Depending on the piano’s condition and available placement options, it may be considered for rehoming, donation, reuse, recycling, or responsible disposal. Our crews can also handle difficult removals involving stairs, tight spaces, apartments, and other challenging access conditions.
Specialized Equipment Built for Piano Moving
Our approach to piano moving is built around using the right equipment for each job. In addition to professional ramps, dollies, piano boards, padding, and floor protection, Luna’s also builds and modifies specialized equipment for demanding piano moves. Our workshop includes custom piano boards, heavy-duty dollies, piano stands, and other equipment designed to improve stability, control, and safety during transport.

Luna’s provides local piano moving throughout Los Angeles County and Orange County, along with long-distance piano transportation throughout California and to Nevada, Arizona, Utah, Oregon, and Washington.
