Moving an upright piano up or down flights of stairs can be done in many ways. It all depends on whether the stairs are going up or down, are straight or have a turn like an L or U Shape (A U Shape staircase is shown on these images). Sometimes a piano needs to be lifted and carried. Sometimes a piano board is needed and sometimes, as shown below, a hand truck is the best option!
